The success since 2004 of SPC’s renaissance is testament to Doug’s leadership.

Joining SPC in 1999 as Principal Consultant, Doug’s gained through hands-on experience a complete understanding of all aspects of SPC’s business. During this period he’s worked with dozens of clients delivering the value that SPC is known for.
Prior to SPC, Doug has worked in increasingly senior positions for a variety of information technology companies. The majority of Doug's work experience has been centered on process and operational improvements, product development, software project consulting, and change management initiatives.
Doug brings to SPC a wealth of experience and expertise regarding corporate leadership, strategic partner development, client and employee satisfaction, and operational oversight. As Doug often states, "Safe and comfortable can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. In life and in business, success is all about being curious and courageous enough to look outside for ideas, inspiration and guidance". Variously described as focused, pragmatic, passionate, sincere, and dynamic, Doug has infused SPC with his own brand of energetic leadership, vision and spirit.
Doug is also an accomplished speaker and popular trainer. He was one of the earliest licensees in North America for Karl Weiger's In Search of Excellent Requirements methodology and has successfully delivered over 100 workshops on this groundbreaking topic.
